Six Basic Section Full Head Foil Application

Section hair into 6 basic sections, mix color formulas.

Start in section 1, following the natural hairline take a diagonal subsection.

Apply tension to the subsection and use metal tail comb to weave hair.

Place foil and apply product, stay at least 1/16" away from edge of foil.

Place 3-5 foils diagonal on both sections 1 and 2 and leave the rest of the hair free.

You will be left with a triangle, take horizontal subsections in the triangle and bricklay foils.

Leave small part of hair out between the sections and 3 & 4.

Move to front right lower section, taking diagonal subsections working with hairline.

Section will narrow as you move away from the hairline, when it becomes more narrow than folded foil, leave remaining hair and repeat process on left front lower section. Remaining hair will have created a "V"

Start at front hairline in section 5 and take diagonal subsections, using natural hairline as a guide.

Take smaller sections and finer weaves along hairline. 

When taking subsections slightly pivot along natural contour of head.

Leave remaining subsections on both left and right front sections. Will have created a diamond shaped section.

Start on bottom right edge of the diamond with diagonal subsections, and work diagonally up diamond.

Leave some hair at top of diamond so it's not foil against foil.

When completed applying product, start process.

Check color development with a strand test.
