Virgin Lightening and Toning Application

Section hair into 4 quadrants and apply protective cream to hairline.

Start in the back right quadrant and take 1/4" diagonal subsection.

Apply formula 1 to mid lengths and ends avoiding scalp area. 

Continue working up slightly pivoting toward the ear.

Repeat to the back left quadrant 

Then repeat on last 2 quadrants with vertical subsections.

Now check to see if mid lengths are half way to desired level and do a strand test

Reapply as necessary and check frequently.

Mix a new batch of formula 

Start in the back right quadrant and outline the quadrant, overlap previously applied product.

Take a diagonal subsection at the nape and apply to scalp then refresh product through the rest of the subsection. 

Repeat process on the rest of the quadrants.

Strand test

When you reach the desired stage of lightening, rinse and shampoo twice don't condition before toning

Towel dry hair, reapply protective cream, divide hair into 4 quadrants.

Outline back right quadrant with formula 2, take diagonal subsections at the nape applying to the scalp area

Repeat on rest of quadrants using vertical subsections at the front quadrants

Go back through quadrants and apply to mid lengths and ends overlapping previously applied product.

Check with strand test, process can take 1-30 minutes
