Section hair into 4 quadrants with an ear to ear parting

Apply cream to hairline to protect guest's skin from color

Starting in the back right quadrant, outline along the hairline.

Start at the nape and take a diagonal 1/4 inch subsection, clip remaining hair away.

Apply to the scalp area, then the mid lengths , apply product to the rest of the hair according to how you determined the condition of the ends.

Continue taking diagonal sections working upward, slightly pivot the subsections toward ear so you will end with a vertical subsection at the end.

Repeat on the back left quadrant.

Continue outlining quadrants before taking subsections.

Move to front right quadrant, take vertical subsection from ear to point of distribution, working towards the front.

Repeat on left front quadrant

Make sure to turn hair over and are applying generously to both sides to assure even coverage.

After quadrants are completed, check product coverage throughout head.

Apply to ends if they were left out at first

Check color development with a strand test.
