Abolition/Emancipation reform

Abolition is the call to outlaw slavery, it was filed by preachers who termed slavery "a great national sin". In some states people argued that the only way to prevent further slave revolts was through emancipation. Others chose to tighten restrictions of African-Americans. In Virginia the debate over slaverys future resulted in a motion for abolition in the state legislature.
