The Non Agression Act was signed August 23, 1939. German Foreign Minister and Soviet Foreign Minister Joachun Von Ribbentrop signed the agreement. It was an agreement that no military action could be taken against each other for 10 years. Joespeh Stalin saw the pact as a way to keep peace with Germany while building up the Soviet army. Hitler used it to his advantage to invade Poland. It was broken in June 22, 1941 by Germany. (History Channel)
