Hitler Takes The Rest Of Czechlosovokia
The Munich Pact was the downfall of Czechlosovokia. It handed 66% of coal, 70% of electrical power to the Germans. Without it, the rest of the country was vulnerable. The Czech government tried to appease Hitler by doing things like suspending all Jewish teachers in German schools and dissolving the Communist party, but it was useless. Hitler threatened president Emil Hacha with a bomb raid in Prague unless German troops were allowed free passage. Once this was agreed upon, March 15, 1939, Prague was taken by evening.
