Hitler Takes Sudentenland

Hitler had threatened to take it by force and its allies were trying to avoid bloodshed. Hitler gained support of citizens because of it being a heavily German populated area. He was a "champion" of the citizens. He capitalized on theƮr discrimination.Radical groups used demands and the treaty, to allow easy occupation of the area. (NY Times, Brittanica)
