Ubi Caritas- Durufle

I think that Ubi Caritas was a challenging piece for the Madrigals because we focused so much on the notes that many of us forgot to pay attention to the intention of the work. However, this changed drastically when we sang Ubi Caritas at Compline. Beyond the beautiful architecture and acoustics, I think singing in Memorial Chapel helped us lock into the true meaning of the piece, which created our best performance of the song so far. -Zoe Dellart ‘17 Click to hear a great version.
