Crust
The earth's crust is a solid. The depth of the earth's crust is 30km to 50km. The earth's crust has many topological features for example mountain rages, volcanic rock on the surface, and volcano eruptions.
The crust is divided into tectonic plates. The 15 most major are: North American, Caribbean, South American Scotia, Antarctic, Eurasian, Arabian, African, Indian, Philippine, Austalian, Pacific, Juan de Fuca, Cocos, and Nazca plates. These plates slide around on the Mantle causing earthquakes, continental drift, volcanoes, and mountain formation.
