A nomadic society were most likely hunters and gathers. These people travelled from place to place depending on the vegetation and if it was good according to migratory cycles and weather. If it was a good area with good potential they stayed.

Nomads had a fair effect on trade as they could travel anywhere and bring their items and culture to those areas, but those nomads also relied on food growth and moving around which didn't help trade. As they moved around, the trading to that society couldn't be consistent.
