Explain how Genghis Khan attained so much power.

He had a strong military and his political policies greatly strengthened the people of his rule. He wasn't born into the best situation, but he got into powerful position. He was very courageous and improved many parts of the Mongol government and military which ultimately led to him gaining power throughout Eurasia.
