1. Round Brush Hard Set

1. pre-dry hair by removing excess moisture with a towel


2. stand in first position behind client


3. apply product and select appropriate brush depending on length of hair


4. use blow dryer to follow the movement of the brush


5. continue drying side to side until hair is 70% dry


6. section the hair from hairline to crown (making a horse shoe section)

vertical section from parietal ridge to behind the ear on both sides

horizontal section from behind the ear to occipital bone (both sides)


7. pick up appropriate sized section of hair (about width of the brush)

dry the roots (secure hair on brush)

then midlengths (elevate the hair and concentrate air on the brush)

then ends (roll hair in the round brush, curling the section toward you before rotating onto scalp to set the curl)


8. direct airflow into brush to set thee curl (5 seconds of hot air, followed by 5 seconds of cold)


9. directing the airflow into the brush, creating the curl


10. release the brush from the hair


11. recreate the curl with your fingers


12. use a clip to secure the curl


13. continue curling the rest of the head using an alternating brick-laying pattern


14. after completion and hair is cooled, remove clips


15. brush through hair if desired and apply finishing product
