battle of lexington

The Patriots won this battle. It was fought on April 19, 1775.

The military governor of Massachusetts was aware that the colonists in Massachusetts Bay were preparing for conflict. There were over 100 spectators at the battle. The British marched out of Lexington and went to Concord. The colonists kept coming and their army became bigger.
