Power is calculated through the product of work and time but since work has its own equation, you have to solve power in two steps.
1) Jennifer is pushing a box across the grass with a power of 4220 watts. The force she puts on it is 350 newtons in a time frame of 17 seconds. How far did the box traveled?
2) Alex is pulling a box full of mussels to the head chef in the kitchen from a dolly with a power of 500 watts. The box is pulled to a distance of 5 meters in 30 seconds. What is the force he's pulling the dolly with?
3) A bulldozer pushed a pile of dirt with a power of 15720 watts. The force of the claws are 350 newtons while moving the dirt 20 meters. How long did the job took?
4) Two car crashed, causing one to be pushed over a hill. A tow truck appeared and pulled both of them out separate with a force of 675 newtons with a 15 meters distance. It took 30 minutes to finish the rescue. What was the power of the tow truck on the two vehicles?
5)An elevator must lift 1000 kg a distance of 100 m at a velocity of 4 m/s. What is the average power the elevator exerts during this trip? (Use w=(mass)(gravity)(height) alternate formula)
