Many of Rome's philosophies were inspired by the Greek's philosophies. They used many of the same ideas of life and lived in those ways of the ways that the Greeks did.
There was a poet named Virgil who spent ten years writing very famous Latin Literature. The Rome empire was inspired by Virgil just like the Greeks were inspired by Homer.
The Roman's main language was Latin and the language stayed very popular even after the fall of the Roman Empire.
Latin was adopted by many other people into French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and Romanian. These languages are called Romance languages.
