Legacy

His legacy is that he helped shape the constitution we live under today and he was a major reason for coming up with ideas for it with out Charles Cotesworth Pinckney we may not have been able to convince South Carolina to vote for the new government. With out him the way the constitutional convention could have gone radically different and may never have become an independent state.
