Relationship with Natives

When Rhode Island first developed, they maintained a great relationship between the Natives. But when the 17th century started, the scramble for land led into a conflict between the Native Americans. Long-standing disagreements came up during King Philip's War in 1675. Other colonies, like Massachusetts, Plymouth and Conneticut, violated Rhode Island's neutrality. They then invaded and destroyed Narraganset Indian Village in 1675.
