Rhode Islands government is egalitarian, where all people are equal and deserve equal rights/opportunities. They also disliked having a governer, where instead they elected a president and council. They abolished witchcraft trials, imprisonment for debt, capital punishment and even chattel slavery for both blacks and whites. The colony has no main relgion, and also is has multiple settlements to refuge many escaping from religious persecution.
