Sentencing

Ray was sentenced to 224 years in prison after being convicted of abduction and sexual torture. His first trial ended in a hang jury in New Mexico. He was convicted but died 8 months later after sentencing, having been held for two and a half years while awaiting trial and retrial. Hendy, who testified against Ray received 36 years for her role in the crimes.
