Native Americans: Were they Involved?
Some Native Americans sided with the British in an attempt to gain back the land their ancestors had lost. If the British won the war, they would be able to get their land back and that was the reason of them siding with them.
Many of the other Natives stayed either neutral or never got involved in the war so they can keep what little they have. Though the bad times were still among them as the American militia killed some of the groups such as the White Eyes and the Moravian Indians who were unarmed.
