Mengele and the Nazi Party

Mengele joined the Nazi Party in 1937. That same year, Mengele joined the Schutzstaffel, or known as the SS. Mengele was drafted into the army in 1940. Due to Mengele having medical backround and a degree, Mengele volunteered into the medical service of the Waffen-SS, armed SS.
