Long Layers Technique

🍃Section hair into 6 parallel sections

🍃 Hair is elevated to 90 degrees or above

🍃Hair is held "T" to section

🍃Secondary scissor position

🍃Traveling guide

🍃Cut one length haircut first

Section 1 & 2

🍃Head forward and down

🍃Fine teeth of comb

🍃Comb & follow x3

🍃Hold hair with spine of comb w/tension

🍃Work Center, Right, Left

🍃Check for balance

Section 3, 4, 5, and 6

🍃 Subsection into 1" sections

🍃Hold hair "T" to section

🍃Wide teeth of comb

🍃Head is straight and forward

🍃Hair by ear is cut at zero degrees

Front Safety section

🍃1/2" from center right & center left, establish desired length and cut

🍃Connect point A to point B from right and left front

🍃Stand on guide side and pull 1" sections at 90 degrees elevation using either forward facing, horizontal, or backwards facing technique. All hair is pulled to the guide held at 90 degrees.
