Small Intestine

As chyme (your liquid food) leaves your stomach, it enters the small intestine. First it enters the duodenum, which is where greenish fluid from the liver is added. Then the digestive solution from the Pancreas is added which helps digest your carbs, proteins, and fats. Next, your food is absorbed into the small intestine and mixed with nutrients. Then all of the nutrients is transported to the cells in your body and the remaining material is pushed into the large intestine.
