Exposition: Going to the shore on the first morning of the holiday, the young English boy stopped at a turning of the path and looked down at a wild and rocky bay, and then over to the crowded beach.

Rising action: When he is starting to hold his breathe near the time needed to go through the tunnel.

Climax: When he's running out of breathe and doesn't know how far from the end he is.

Falling action: When he rises out of the water and is on the rock bleeding and catching his breathe.

Resolution: He was able to hold his breathe and make it though the tunnel.
