Peter Lalor should be in the hall of fame, because he lead the Miner rebellion into battle, and stood up to the government when no one else would. He fought for what he thought was right and made it happen. In 1855, the Ballarat miners had eight representatives in the Victorian Government. Peter Lalor was elected as one of them.
