Geronimo and Alope

Around the age of 17 Geronimo fell in love with a woman named Alope. The two later married and had three children. On March 5, 1851 Geronimo returned to the camp with other Apache men from a trading trip. They discover that a group of 400 Mexican soldiers had attacked their camp killing his mother, wife, and 3 children.
