Geronimo's Death

Geronimo's final surrender was in 1886 in the United States. Geronimo died on February 17, 1909 being unable to return to his land. He died of pneumonia two days after falling from his horse drunk and lying overnight in a puddle. Geronimo was buried in the Apache cemetery at Fort Sill, Oklahoma.
