Direct Sunlight
Direct sunlight is when the rays of the sun are directly hitting the surface of the Earth in a concentrated circle of light.

Indirect sunlight is when the Sun's rays are hitting Earth's surface at a lower angle. Since Earth's surface is sloped the rays can't directly hit every inch.
