A Brief Summary of Rotation

Earth rotates. And what that basically means is, it spins! When a side of Earth is turned away from the Sun, it is nighttime there. A full rotation of Earth is completed in 24 hours, or to sum it up, one day. Now that we've got this covered, we can delve into what Earth's seasons are all about!

What is Revolution?

Revolution is sometimes confused with rotation. But revolution is quite different! Revolution is Earth's counter-clockwise trip around the Sun. This little trip lasts 365 and 1/4 days, or, a year. And during our revolution is when the seasons occur.
