Principles of Effective Communication

#2. Nonverbal Communication
When we are communicating something that we care about, we use mostly nonverbal commmunication, or body language. Forms of this can include:
-Body movement and gestures
-Eye contact
-Posture
-Tone of your voice
-Muscle Tension and breathing
In the same class mentioned earlier, the teacher asked me to do a lesson while she did individual conferences with the stuents. I noticed right away how important it was to already have notes on the board so you will not have your back to the students. When I was writing and talking was when the students started to act up and get off task.
