Free Verse

Singing, soothing to my soul and music to my ears
Melodies streaming out in smooth notes from my mouth
Its like an instrument inside that my throat plays
I sing everywhere I go humming inside my head
Music expresses who I am and how im feeling
Singing in the shower, my brain, my home
Places where im free to sing as loud as I can
Where no one can judge and criticize me
Im Brave enough to post covers on facebook
Laughing at myself for the high notes I miss
Mistakes soon lead up to something right
Hitting that note is like a miracle to me
Practicing day and night is not tiring at all
I could sing all day, everyday
music is my soul and my soul is music
we are like a match meant to be
music is always in me and it comes out with my voice
I love music and music loves me.
