When I was down you picked me up

I can never thank you enough for how much you've done

The love you had for me was like no other

Not the type who saves damsel in distress or slays fire breathing dragons

But like everyday heroes who risk lives and show compassion

That's the kind of hero I have encountered

He has rescued me from the depths of misery and sadness

Carried me on his back when I hit rock bottom

Is there a hero like this? I don't think so...

Love, compassion, thoughtfulness is what makes a hero

Caring for others around you because you love them

This is the love I have received

And my hero loves and cares and he has saved me.
