đź“ŤTrade was very important to the people of the Indus River Valley civilization. Merchants traveled as far as Sumer to trade!
đź“ŤBy 1900 B.C., the Indus River Valley civilization began to decline. However, scientists are unsure why the civilization declined.
đź“ŤIt is believed that Aryan tribes from Central Asia came through the Khyber Pass and conquered the Indus River people.

The Indus River Valley Civilization:

đź“ŤAbout 2600 B.C., the earliest South Asian civilization emerged in the Indus River valley, in present day Pakistan.
đź“ŤThe civilization flourished for about 700 years.
đź“ŤTwo main cities:
Harappa & Mohenjodaro
đź“ŤMany accomplishments such as grid-patterned roads, temples, granaries (houses made of brick), plumbing systems in houses, sewers, weaving of cloth, and a developed form of writing!
