They had similar beliefs as Hinduism. The founder of the religion was Siddartha Gautama, Buddah. Their house of worship is shrines. Their holy text is called The Three Baskets of Wisdom. Prince Siddartha meditated for 49 days, and became enlightened, or the Buddah. Nirvana is reached by the Eightfold Path. Nirvana is the ultimate goal to escape the cycle of reincarnation.
