The ultimate goal is to break the cycle of reincarnation, and eventually achieve Moksha. They believe I reincarnation, or rebirth.

Brought to the Indus River Valley 3,500 years ago by Aryans. There Holy Text is called the Vedas. It is filled with prayers, chants, and hymns. The Vedas are the root of all Hindu beliefs. The Hindus worship in Temples. Hindus were polytheistic.

Hinduism

Founded in India, and still exists today

Their social hierarchy is called the Caste System. If you follow the moral and religious duties, or Dharma, you will be reincarnated into a higher Caste in your next life. The higher the Caste, the closer you are to reaching Moksha. If you do not meet the moral duties, you will be born into a lower Caste.

There is no social mobility, and you can not marry someone in a different Caste.
