Identify Chemicals: In the bird sanctuary all hazardous chemicals are labelled correctly so that all workers are aware of the risks when/ if you are to use them.

Who, what and how? At the work place I was given a risk assessment which told me who would be at risk, what the risk was and how risky the risk was, they also displayed all of this information on posters so that it could always be seen and remembered.

High exposure: If high exposure to an employee was to occur, then the main staff at the bird sanctuary would make sure that all employees were kept out if reach of the chemical until the risk had been stopped, reduced or controlled in the best way possible.

Poster: there is a COSHH poster displayed in the main hospital area so that whilst you are working you are constantly reminded of the risks and what to do if you were to encounter a risk.
