Henry B. Gonzalez

He was a U.S. representative from 1961-1998. In 1957, he filibustered for more than 22 hours to protest segregation. It was in courage, even though there was no Mexican Texan in politics. And his will too was a great characteristic. He was determined to help people get into politics. He wouldn't give up. He helped start community development programs and worked in the finance area.
