Women reformers expanded their efforts from movements like abolition and included women rights.
Many women had thoughts about anti- slavery and tried to attend the convention but were rejected because of their sex.
Following the rejection of taking part in the convention women decided that they needed to create their own convention discussing women's rights and how to improve them.
