Art style of "Incognegro"
I would say the art style for incognegro would be kind of dark and Erie. I would describe it this way because the whole story is in black and white and for most of the story they talk about the tragedies that have happened and most of them happen to be deaths. This describes it best because it was also back in the older days so most things were in black and white so this would also have to be in black and white. Also I think the author did this on purpose to show how the storyline would be and to set the scene and give the dark mysterious feeling to the comic as the readers read it. I think this enhances the content of the story to also show the setting of the story and how the colors would relate to it. The people did not know that Zane was an African American so maybe he was also trying to give us more of a mystery so it would be hard even for us to tell who was segregated from each other in the book.
