Liturgy of the Eucharist
The priest begins by saying:
Pray, brothers and sisters,
that my sacrifice and yours may be acceptable to God, the almighty Father.
The clergy stands up and replies:
May the Lord accept the sacrifice at your hands for the praise and glory of his name, for our good and the good of all his holy Church.
Priest:
The Lord be with you.
The people reply:
And with your spirit.
The presider continues:
Lift up your hearts.
The clergy:
We lift them up to the Lord.
The Priest then says:
Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
The clergy:
It is right and just.

The entire church says the Our Father, and pause before saying Amen. during this pause the priest says:
Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil,
graciously grant peace in our days,
that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
