Temperature and Precipitation
The intertidal zones of the world are dynamic in that they frequently change throughout the day. During the high tide, the zone can be covered with salt water up to the shore. During the low tide, the biome is exposed to air. These shores can have up to 118.1 inches of rain on average. The rain is essential since most of the life is marine.
As for temperature, it's hard to really get an accurate measure. These zones are anywhere where there's a coastal line, so they can exist on any continent of the world. For this reason, the temperature varies from a large range.
Moisture is another trait of this biome: fog can attribute to 19.1 inches of rainfall! (Oceanlink)
