Decomposition and nitrogen cycle.

Decomposition is when a plant or animal dies and then it gets broken down into smaller parts and becomes part of the soil. This is down by decomposers.

Relation

The nitrogen cycle is related to decomposition because both of these things go into the soil and have to do with getting broken down. Nitrogen goes into the soil through its process when plants or animals die. That is what decomposition is. That what's in relation of both of these.

Nitrogen is important to all living things because if we didn't have it we wouldn't be alive. Of course we have to have oxygen to breath but nitrogen plays a big part in that cycle. One thing is that we can't just take in nitrogen. Parts in our body have to form it into something else and add it to another thing. Just remember nitrogen is really good and we get from the food we eat. Plants get it from the soil.

All of these are dead animals which were full of skin and meat. Over time decomposers, decomposed them to where they were broken down and forming with the soil.

This picture shows you how over time the leaf kept forming with the soil and broken down into smaller pieces.

In this picture you can see how this fish got decomposed and how the nitrogen went in to the soil. Also nitrogen can get int the soil from the fishes waste.
