There are two different types of animal adaptations. One is structural which are physical features on its body. The other type of adaptation is behavioral. That is where the animal learns how to do or avoid thing in its environment.


There's are examples of structural because the have there physical features on there body. The tiger has its claws to be able to defend or for food. Also the bear has its fur to protect itself from the cold
An example for behavioral is when a bear knows when to go get fish for food because of past experience . Another example is another example is when birds migrate. They do it to keep warm and not to get cold.

The turtles shell is structural because it's apart of its body. It protects it from getting consumed.

Also when go up into a tree to hide from predators.when a skunk sprays a foul smell at other animals when felling threatened.

This is the lions teeth which it can kill its pray with.
