Erosion and Weathering


Weathering is when rocks and minerals are broken down. Chemical weathering is when rocks and minerals are broken down by liquids or gasses. Physical weathering is done by a physical force. Also, biological weathering is when a living thing is the thing doing the breaking. Erosion is when rocks and minerals are being carried away or relocated. It can be done by animals, wind, water, and glaciers.
