Malala Today

Malala had to begin her road to recovery. She had the 10 centimeter square of her skull inserted into her lower abdomen to preserve it until they could replace it in just over a year. Throughout most of her recovery, Malala was in a medically induced coma. When she finally awoke for good in Birmingham the affects of the bullet had taken shape. Malala had trouble writing and understanding what happened. She had no recollection of who was with her or how it happened. It took control of her facial muscles. Today Malala is fully recovered but may occasionally stumble while writing or not be able to move her facial muscles like she used to. This does not stop her she still believes that women should have the right of every man and the ability for everyone to get a quality education! She will continue to defend women's rights!
