Fearless isn't being free of scared, it's doing something because you're scared.

One November 3rd, 1997 one of the best leaders and writers whom I have come to know was born. Her name was Maggie Lewis, or Margaret, but only call her this if you want to be punched in the face, judo chopped in the throat, or pushed down the stairs. Even though she is only a mere 18 years old she has been through a lot of stuff that many 18 year olds don't have to experience. Such as living in the hospital for a very long time, drinking a lot, smoking weed, no I'm just kidding. She's a rather good leader and doesn't do that sort of stuff. However the part about her living in the hospital is completely true. While she can't completely pinpoint a saddest moment in her life she says there have been a lot. However Maggie has a rather positive vibe to her. She says the best childhood memory for her was when her dad came home, he had brought her a bag of radishes because for some reason she really liked radishes as a child. She put on his work boots and went outside, she was in just her underwear and the boots, it was very hot and she was sweating. She just sat there and ate the bag of radishes while he worked on their back porch. Another happy memory for her was when she got accepted to Arkansas for college, she told her mom and mom said “really?” And then Maggie asked her “what do you mean really?” And her mom said “well I didn't think you were going to get in” it was just happy moment because Maggie felt like saying “screw you Rita, I got in, and I'll be leaving.” When asked about her biggest achievement she said she has two, one when she was seven she went to a Yugioh tournament and got first place. Her second was the summer of her sophomore year she went to the fair and entered a hotdog eating contest and she won. These two are her biggest because one it takes a lot to eat a whole bunch of hot dogs and two because being seven and being the best Yu-gi-o player in the state of Kansas was pretty big, especially since she beat out 20 year old guys with no lives. For Maggie however, high school has been anything but ordinary. This year she felt she going to die because her heart gave out on her and she had a heart attack. This was the scariest thing in her life that she has had to overcome. Through this time however, she has had people that stuck by her, such as her chummy Darian, and her role models. A few of her role models would include, Mel-Mel Lagree because in Maggie's words “She’s my life coach, she taught me to put happiness in every situation in my life.” Another role model for Maggie's would be Martha Bredehoeft because “I know she will always be in my corner, she will always tell me how it is, and what the real situation looks like.” Her last role model would be Matthew Watson because as Maggie put it “he taught me that I am smart, that I will succeed, not to listen to what anyone else says, and just do my dreams.” Under Maggie's guidelines a good role model needs to be supportive, always in your corner, they always listen, and they can lead other people, nice, teach you things, and lastly show you the world from a different perspective. Personally Maggie prefers to stand out rather than fit in because she doesn't want to be a cookie cutter teenager, she just wants to be who she is, and if people don't like it then the she will be alone her whole life but she doesn't really care. At this moment in time Mags is focused on a really important dream of hers, becoming a successful architect, not just an architect but a successful one
