Mountain Region

The mountain region is a region in California. There are plenty of mountain ranges in the state of California. In Northern California there is the Klamath and Cascade ranges are in Northern California. Mt. Whitney is another mountain range. Mt. Whitney is highest point in California. Most mountain ranges run north to south. In the mountain region it is very cold during during the winter and snow forms. This snow is important ant because the towns use that water. In the mountain region they mainly use the land for towns, logging, and mining.
