The Sixties and Beyond

Harvard professor, Timothy Leary & LSD

The 1960s drug guru whom Richard Nixon called "the most dangerous man in America." Timothy Leary was paid by the government to find out the effects of LSD. During this decade, the Harvard professor decided to release this drug to the public, teaching teenagers around the nation, how to make LSD at home. This caused an outbreak of outraged parents, whom were totally against Leary and everything he stood for. The drug was said to have effect on only one part of your mind, what you think you are capable of, and that is what brought many americans toward LSD.
