I have arrived in the city of Cempoala where I met the ruler of this city. We have called him the fat chief! He has said to us he thinks Montezuma's taxes were too much for his people to handle. I was also happy to here that he was happy we came to take over Montezuma! When I asked for his assistance he was happy as ever to help! I have a feeling that the "fat chief" wanted to prove that he was helping me by giving our troop a valuable gift; 400 native quarters. He has also gave us a transportation help by providing people from his group to help carry weapons and bullets. I will continue the journey to Montezuma. I always knew God will guide my way to success!
