Spanish Social Systems

Nobility:nobles were the small, upper class group. They could own their own land and could pass the land through generations of families. People were not judged by work but by class.

Commoners: commoners were the lower class of farmers, peasants, and labourers. They worked for nobles and could not own their own land. If commoners worked hard and studied certain subjects, they could climb up the social pyramid.

Priests: Priests were strong religious decision makers. Some had to work other jobs to work money. Some priests had better educations and were higher class ranking than others. Depending on what religious activities you were a part of could decide your treatment and class rank.
